Bluestarfoods.com launched!

Well the launch happened some time ago but I forgot to write about it. I’ll keep it short and sweet.

So I was contracted to redo bluestarfoods.com. Check out the before and after below and see for yourself the outcome!

BEFORE (HTML running on windoze) :( Bluestar Legacy

Issue here was that the site was static and difficult to update, not to mention visually outdated.

AFTER (Ruby on Rails, MySQL, HTML, CSS, Javascript running on centos) :D Bluestar

Now with an admin and the ability to dynamically pull data from youtube and their blog (which are both cached locally btw), Bluestar is now even richer with fresh content and easier to manage. I would also say she’s looking a bit more modern too. WIN!
